Santa Cruz County has many beautiful hiking trails. This waterfall was photographed about a week after it had been raining, so had more water going over the falls than usual. The falls is about seven miles inland from the Pacific Ocean, in the heart of the California Redwoods, via the Waddell Creek trail. It can also be accessed from a trail starting at Big Basin State Park.
