Seymour Longs Marine Lab

I recently attended a school field trip with my son at Seymour Longs Marine Lab. This picture shows one view of the interior of the visitors center.

DA Skylanth has a great [External Panorama] of the lab, showing the Blue whale skeleton.

The [Seymour Marine Discovery Center at Long Marine Laboratory] is located on the coast, just north of Santa Cruz and the [Natural Bridges State Park] at the northern tip of the Monterey Bay. The Institute is affiliated with the University of California, and is less well known than the [Monterey Bay Aquarium] While much smaller in scale, it provides a more hands on learning experience for youngsters. The Seymour center focuses more on Ocean mammels, less on the deep sea studies that the Monterey Bay aquarium is known for.

The nearby Natural Bridges State beach is also well known for the [Monarch Butterflies]
